Vessel Engineer
Behind every successful voyage is someone making sure everything runs exactly as it should.
As a Vessel Engineer, you are responsible for the systems that keep the vessel moving safely and efficiently. From engines and generators to hydraulics and onboard equipment, your work ensures the vessel is always ready to perform when it matters most.
This is a hands on role for someone who takes pride in their craft. You will handle routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and respond quickly to mechanical challenges whether underway or in port. It requires attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently while supporting the crew as a whole.
If you enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and being a critical part of a team that depends on you, you will fit right in here.
Your work keeps operations moving, and that impact reaches far beyond the vessel.
AB Deckhand
This is where the real work happens. On deck, in all conditions, as part of a team that relies on each other.
As an AB Deckhand, you play a key role in the safe, day to day operation of the vessel. Your responsibilities include mooring, cargo handling, standing watch, and maintaining the deck and equipment.
This role is hands on and fast moving. It is for someone dependable, safety focused, and ready to show up and do the work, no matter the conditions.
If you enjoy being on the water, working as part of a crew, and contributing to something bigger than yourself, this is a strong opportunity to build your experience and grow in the maritime industry.
Forklift Operator / Stevedore
This role is all about keeping freight moving. Safely, efficiently, and without delays.
As a Forklift Operator or Stevedore, you will be responsible for loading and unloading cargo, operating forklifts and heavy equipment, and helping maintain a clean, organized yard. Your work directly supports vessel operations and ensures freight is handled with care from start to finish.
We are looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, and takes safety seriously. Experience in yard operations or forklift operation is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person who is ready to learn and work hard.
If you like staying active, working outdoors, and being part of a team that gets the job done, this role is a great fit.
Receiver
This role sits at the center of everything. Where freight, communication, and operations all come together.
As a Receiver, you take ownership of freight from arrival through delivery. You will manage receiving, tagging, tracking, and system entry while ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant. This includes load sheets, stow plans, and hazardous material records.
You will work closely with yard teams, vessel crews, and port operations to coordinate movement, track shipments, resolve discrepancies, and keep everything aligned. This role also includes hands on support with loading and unloading, as well as travel to ports when needed.
It is fast paced and detail driven. You will need to stay organized, think ahead, and communicate clearly across multiple teams.
If you are someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, this is a role where you can make a real impact.
Administrative Assistant
Every strong operation needs someone keeping things organized behind the scenes. That is where you come in.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will support day to day operations for a growing marine transportation company serving Southeast and Western Alaska. This role is key to keeping communication clear, tasks on track, and the team running efficiently.
You will handle a variety of responsibilities, from administrative coordination to supporting internal processes and team needs. It is a great fit for someone who is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities without needing constant direction.
We are looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
If you enjoy being part of a team that is building something meaningful and want a role where your work truly matters, this is a great opportunity to grow with us.
